Whitestown Submits Revised Cobblestone Commitments

Summary:

In a continuation of the July 11, 2005, Town Council Meeting attorney Ty Conner representing the town for the annexation of the Clark Property, presented the town's revised commitments to the developer (Misrach/Daffin) and their attorney Michael J. Andreoi.
The town also re-opened the public hearing session for additional comments. It was again impressed upon the town board that while town residents are not opposed to annexation they are strongly opposed to R3 Zoning stipulations in the annexation petition.

Local residents also brought into question the traffic study submitted by the developer. Noting it was performed during the spring break period for most local area schools. The board was also requested to further modify the commitments if it did decide to move forward with the petition and rezoning to reduce the maximum number of lots from 487 to 450 and ensure that all current draft building and anti-automony standards and or ordinances be adhered to.

 

Cobblestone had no comments on the revised commitments as they had not viewed them prior to the meeting
